THROWN: Geworfen

2012–2013 Role Concept Designer, Developer

THROWN, created with CryENGINE 3 during my master's degree in architecture, interprets the Heideggerian notion of geworfenheit within a virtual realm. Players are metaphorically "thrown" into a game environment without explicit objectives, echoing the existential journey of seeking meaning in life.

Two distinct levels are illustrated here as separate showcases.

On The Folded Surface complemented an assignment we gave to first-year architecture students, asking them to envision themselves shrunk to the scale of the models they designed. Escape The Room was designed to illustrate the spatial framework of my Master’s thesis as an offshoot level in the THROWN: Geworfen project.
