Building sets and building toys have played an important role in shaping the modern world. It is not an exaggeration to call these toys “the building blocks of modernism”.
In this workshop, students will explore modular architectural thinking using digital LEGO bricks.

About Workshop
Instructors
Oğuz Orkun Doma
Architect and a Ph.D. candidate in the Architectural Design Computation program at Istanbul Technical University. Received Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 2012 and Master’s Degree in Architecture in 2014 at Bahçeşehir University. Has been working as a Research Assistant in the ITU Faculty of Architecture since September 2014. Professional experience includes architectural design, virtual reality, game design, level design, project management, graphic design and visualization, and teaching in the higher education industry. avesis.itu.edu.tr/doma
Requirements
– Enthusiasm on architectural design and playing with LEGOs.
– All students are advised to attend with a notebook or desktop PC or Mac.
– Install LeoCAD (v.21.03)
– Have Adobe Photoshop & Adobe InDesign installed. (Prior knowledge is not mandatory but recommended.)
