Explore an interactive 3D WebGL musical box inspired by the fictional keepsake from Anastasia (1997) and reimagined through the visual language of Fabergé’s Imperial Easter eggs. Romanov Musical Box depicts Tsar Nicholas II and Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna as miniature dancing figures, accompanied by a MIDI rendition of “Once Upon a December”. The experience combines real-time Three.js rendering, direct 3D object interaction, mechanical winding behaviour, camera controls, and Web Audio synthesis to present a compact digital artefact shaped by historical reference, cinematic memory, and decorative object design.
